ST JOHNS HOUSE, LICHFIELD, STAFFORDSHIRE
We are situated right in the centre of Lichfield less than 100 metres from the railway and bus station (comfortable to walk but impossible to hear). We will meet you at the station to carry your bags and will help you in every way to be green. If you want to come by bike we will store it for you in the dry.
All food, where practicable, is sourced locally and organically grown or bred with as low air miles as possible.
The renovation of St Johns used and continues to use traditional and natural materials such as lime, horse hair, reclaimed glass and wood, blood, sweat and a few tears!
Lichfield is in the top five environmental councils in the country and we have helped them achieve this. Each room has two bins one for landfill and one for recycling we then sort and recycle all glass, plastic, paper and compostable items.
We change beds every other day (if you are staying more than one night!) although this frequency is driven by how green you want to be!
